B. Introductory Class of Tea Sommelier
Focus: Flavor, brewing techniques, and Kagoshima tea.
Experience: Discover the secrets of Kagoshima's world-class green leaf teas. Taste and compare different regional varieties while learning professional brewing techniques to unlock the perfect balance of umami and sweetness.

Itinerary

Upon arrival, meet your English-speaking guide who will bridge the communication with your Birouen tea master. First, you will discover the rich history of Japanese tea and learn exactly what makes Kagoshima’s green tea so special. Then, working alongside your group, you will follow the master's authentic techniques to brew the perfect cup yourself. After relaxing with your freshly brewed tea and traditional sweets, you will receive an official certificate of completion to commemorate your experience!
