Kagoshima Highlight One day Tour

• Visit Sengan-en and learn the history of Kagoshima
  
• Have special Japanese lunch at Sengan-en
  
• Take a local ferry to get to Mt. Sakurajima, an active volcano
  

First, we go to Sengan-en Japanese garden. There are a museum, a residence of local leaders built in the 19th century and its garden created in the 17th century. We can enjoy the view of the garden and the history of Kagoshima there. At a restaurant in the garden, we can enjoy local cuisine for lunch. Most of its ingredients are locally produced.

After visiting Senganen, we go to Mt. Sakurajima, an active volcano. We can feel the massive energy of the earth and observe how the local people live with the volcano.

Over 15 years old will be counted as an adult
The total of the group shouldn't be over 6 people including children.

Itinerary

9am　Meet at your hotel in Kagoshima-city and take a bus 

9:50am　Visit Sengan-en Japanese Garden

11:30am　Lunch at Ohkatei, Sengan-en

12:20pm　Take a Bus to Sakurajima ferry port

12:45pm　Take a ferry to Sakurajima

1:25pm　Visit Sakurajima Visitor Center to learn about the volcano (and hot spring foot-bath)

3pm　Yunohira Observatory

3:30pm　Take a ferry back to the center of the city

4pm　Walk around Tenmonkan downtown area

5pm　Back to the hotel

Please tell the guide your request of what you want to do at Tenmonkan. You can do shopping, learn about the Meiji Restoration, have local sweets, etc etc... You can decide what you want to do at the site!
